The charming Crackenback Farm Restaurant & Guesthouse is the ideal alpine escape, located in the beautiful Crackenback Valley in the Snowy Mountains five minutes from Jindabyne -  perfect for skiing and summer sports at either Thredbo or Perisher, being less than ten minutes drive to the Ski Tube, and only ten minutes further to Thredbo Village. 80 acres of land surrounded by natural bushland, kangaroos, wallabys, wombats, deer and even emus. In the warmer months guests can go trout fishing nearby on LakeEucumbene, kayaking on Lake Jindabyne, or enjoy a little mountain biking, hiking or scenic photography.

The Glenn Murcutt-designed lodge has six cosy, well-appointed guest rooms in a variety of configurations, all with queen beds as a minimum and their own bathrooms, with extra beds for children available. Twin singles are available on request. There’s a large guest lounge to relax in after a long day skiing or walking, stocked with books, DVDs and boardgames. Our rooms are decorated with quirky antiques and artefacts which add some personality and individuality to our property. Free onsite parking and free wifi. All accommodations offers lovely views of Thredbo Valley. A delicious cooked country-style breakfast for 2 is provided in the Bed & Breakfast package.

In season the French-inspired farmhouse restaurant & bar trades for both lunch and dinner. Featuring cathedral-ceilings enchanting alpine garden. offers a bar with an extensive wine list, and serves both lunch and dinner.
