Currango (formerly Currangorambla) pastoral station was established in the late 1830s and has a combination of low key weatherboard accommodation buildings and vernacular drop log and slab outbuildings set among exotic plantings. The Currango Homestead was built in 1895 by Arthur Triggs.It became part of the then-Kosciusko State Park in 1944, but remained occupied
